Role:
As a Cloud Engineer / IT Administrator at Corestrat, you will work as part of our dynamic IT team, supporting infrastructure management, cloud solutions, and IT operations across the organization. This role offers a mix of cloud engineering, systems administration, and troubleshooting, with a focus on Azure cloud services, ITIL processes, and networking.

Responsibilities

  • Cloud Management: Assist in the setup, maintenance, and optimization of cloud infrastructure, particularly within Azure Cloud.
  • IT Administration: Manage and support internal IT systems, including servers, databases, and networks, ensuring their availability and performance.
  • Cloud Deployment: Help deploy, manage, and monitor cloud-based services and applications.
  • Network Management: Monitor and maintain company networks and troubleshoot any network-related issues.
  • Security management: Implement and monitor security protocols to protect systems and data from potential threats.
  • Database Administration: Assist with database management (preferably MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Azure SQL), ensuring they are optimized and secure.
  • Troubleshooting: Provide IT support and resolve issues related to hardware, software, and networking.
  • ITIL Process: Help implement ITIL processes for IT service management, ensuring efficient handling of IT incidents, requests, and changes.

Required Competencies

  • Graduation in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in IT administration, cloud engineering, or IT support roles.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud services and tools.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and practices
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of database management systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Azure SQL.
  • Strong experience in working with Azure DevOps and a solid understanding of the Agile development life cycle.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts and troubleshooting, including DNS, VPN, firewalls, and routing.
  • Experience implementing basic security protocols to protect systems and data
  • Proficiency in managing Linux and Windows-based systems

Preferred Competencies

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, or other relevant certifications.
  • Experience with DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
  • Familiarity with ITSM tools.
  • Basic knowledge of scripting languages like Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
  • Experience supporting end-user IT requests and troubleshooting systems, networks, and hardware.
