Job Description

Responsibilities:

Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform.
Participate in code reviews, wireframe designs and proof of concepts.
Write high-quality code that complies with design specifications and meets development and support requirements.
Work with outside data sources and APIs Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

Skills Required:

Proven work experience in Android development.
Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
Ability to convert functional requirements into user interface designs and prototypes, and developed applications
Have published at least one Android app on Play Store (provide link to app)
Experience with Android SDK
Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON
Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle, open source environment, JSON/XML for client-server communication, high version control skills, with emphasis on GIT.
Dedication to continued learning and growth within mobile application technologies.
Ability to work well on a collaborative team.
