The Business Analyst will support data discovery, process analysis, and the development of scalable analytics solutions. The role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders and technical teams to understand existing systems, identify improvement opportunities, and ensure data accuracy and usability.

• Conduct data discovery activities to understand available data sources, structures, and business requirements.
• Analyze and reverse-engineer business processes to align operational workflows with data models and reporting needs.
• Review data from multiple ticketing and operational systems, identifying relationships and opportunities for normalization.
• Translate business requirements into clear analytical specifications and data-driven solutions.
• Identify data gaps, inconsistencies, and process inefficiencies, proactively communicating findings to stakeholders.
• Support the creation and improvement of BI and AI-driven analytical workflows.
• Assist in validating pipeline data using modern AI tools and technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data quality, accessibility, and reporting capabilities.
• Provide insights and recommendations to support business decisions and operational improvements.
• Act as a visible contributor in stakeholder discussions, ensuring alignment and timely resolution of issues.
• Proactively follow up on action items, risks, dependencies, and outstanding data-related challenges.
• Document processes, findings, requirements, and recommendations to support long-term data initiatives.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is a highly analytical and proactive professional with experience in business analysis, data modeling, and BI/AI-enabled solutions. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment are essential.

• Experience working as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, BI Analyst, or similar role.
• Strong background in data discovery, data analysis, and business process understanding.
• Experience analyzing and organizing data from multiple systems or platforms.
• Ability to reverse-engineer business processes and translate them into data requirements.
• Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and data normalization principles.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to business stakeholders.
• Ability to identify gaps, challenge assumptions, and provide clear recommendations.
• Highly proactive mindset with strong ownership and follow-through.
• Experience working in highly visible roles with frequent stakeholder interaction.
• Familiarity with BI tools such as Tableau or Cognos is beneficial.
• Exposure to AI-enabled analytics tools and platforms such as Copilot, Genie, Claude, or similar technologies is preferred.
• Experience using AI tools for data validation, workflow improvement, or analytical support is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage priorities independently.
• Ability to work full-time remotely while collaborating with teams operating on PST hours.
