About the Team
Senior Associate - Ad Sales Meesho’s advertisers in meeting their advertising goals. Our objective is to increase the share of wallet as advertising revenue from these suppliers. Based on the supply mix available on the platform, the sales team will generate sufficient demand. It will handle large accounts and customise requests for suppliers and support in placing campaigns. Its objective is to make suppliers successful by growing business via advertising and increasing advertising spending on the platform.
About the Role
We’re looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented, analytical, and highly-motivated person to help scale Ads in Meesho. Advertising is our flagship monetisation vertical, and it is the backbone of our monetisation strategy. We’re further strengthening our offering by continuously building ad offerings, better features in existing offerings, and improving targeting capabilities and shopper engagement.
What You will Do
Take complete ownership of ad revenue from a set of head sellersBuilding, Training and Managing a team of Account Managers associated with growing advertisers' accountsManage day-to-day ad operations of the team and build process efficiencyIdentify supplier problems, opportunities to increase advertising business and create new advertising solutions for the long-term success of the high-value advertisers in their portfolioCreate and improvise on existing workflows, drive advertiser activation and retention programs, influencing performance on various Meesho Ad products Leading and motivating the team to deliver on business goals. Be accountable to meet business goals for their functionWork with the team to identify and implement solutions and pilots to drive process efficiencies and business goalsProactively work to unearth advertiser problems and work on building potential solutionsAnalyze week-on-week revenue trends and identify levers to unlock opportunities for ad adoption and spendsEnsure usage and adoption of advertising tools to capture all customer interactionsEnable the team to build a strong rapport with sellers to enhance the overall ads experienceCoordinate with Product, Analyst, Support and Seller onboarding teams for various projectsWe work Monday to Friday, with working on Saturday (WFH) intermittently depending on business needsWillingness to travel as per business requirements.
What Will You Need
Minimum 2+ years of experience. Exposure to e-commerce, sales and advertising. Experience in data analysis, either professional experience or through your education.Experience in sales and marketing is preferred.Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to face external and internal partners in a professional and mature manner, and a strong ability to handle objections.Desire to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment.Previous experience in account management or similar roles. Advanced computer literacy especially in Microsoft Office application.
